Law Officer's Report.

Ordinance Nr.5 of 1858 extended to this Colony amongst other Acts of the Imperial Parliament the Act 21 Vict. Cap. 54 1/2 "Punishment of Frauds committed by Persons entrusted with Property".

The repeal of that Ordinance required the passing of some Legislative measure to revive the aforesaid Act.
